Tradition & Belonging

Teej is a significant Hindu festival, celebrated primarily by women across Nepal, India and Bhutan, dedicated to the Goddess Parvati and her union with Lord Shiva.

Marked with rituals, fasting and prayer for wellbeing and marital happiness, Teej is one of the most vivid expressions of culture in our community calendar. We helped bring the festival to life at North Lakes, giving families a place to gather and honour tradition together.

An exciting cricket tournament bringing together local cricket enthusiasts. In partnership with the Queensland Nepalese Cricket Association (QNCA), the Nice T20 Cup highlights our commitment to sport and community engagement.

The tournament gives local players a platform to show their talent, fostering camaraderie across the Nepalese and wider Brisbane community.
